Fra Kaptajn Jespersen til digital rehabilitering i morgendagens sundhedsvæsen

Kaptajn Jespersen fik sat gang i træning i hjemmet via Statsradiofonien i 1927 med programmet Morgengymnastikken, hvor han animerede lytterne til gymnastiske øvelser af hensyn til disses sundhed og figur samt for at undgå blødagtighed.

Kaptajn Jespersen er et eksempel på, at man ved hjælp af teknologi kan nå en bred gruppe danskere til træning i hjemmet.

I dag taler vi om digital rehabilitering og telerehabilitering. Spørgsmålet er, hvordan patienter og sundhedsprofessionelle
oplever dette? – I oplægget vil professor Birthe Dinesen fortælle om forskningsresultater på området.

Online presentation at conference in Taiwan

Today professor Birthe Dinesen had an online presentation on “Telehealth Innovation in Denmark in the Era of Covid-19” at the EU Investment Forum within BIO-Tech/Healthcare in Taiwan. There were many questions about how we do telehealth in clinical practice in Denmark, and Taiwan will like to learn from the Danish experiences.

Udvikling af spil-prototype

Future Patient forskningsprojektet har haft workshop på Arsenalet i Viborg om udvikling af en prototype til et spil til hjertesvigtspatienter, som de kan bruge til rehabilitering.

Søren Jønsson fra Lemuria ledte os i gennem dagen på en spændende og udfordrende måde. Frank Høedt fulgte processen gennem hele workshoppen med grafisk facilitering som et referat af dagen.

Nu skal prototyperne vurderes af patienter og vi skal sammen med dem finde ud af hvilken prototype vi vil arbejde videre. Vi glæder os til de næste trin i processen.

Virtual PhD boat trip

The Transatlantic Telehealth Research Network (TTRN) & CITRIS, UC Berkeley Summer Institute is having the 4th international PhD course these days. This year it is virtual due to the Covid-19 situation.

Today I have given a lecture on Social Robots & AI and we have had good discussions. We have 28 participants from the USA, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore and Denmark. Every year we have a tradition on taking a boat tour during the PhD course – this year it is a virtual boat trip.

Next year the TTRN & Citris UC Berkeley Summer Institute will be held at Aalborg University.

Transatlantic Telehealth Research Network (TTRN) & Citris UC Berkeley Summer Institute will be held virtually August 9 – 11 and August 24 – 26, 2020. You can still sign up for the course.

The 2020 topics include research methods and approaches for health informatics, tele- and digital-health, plus a special focus on data science, real-world evidence, robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, predictive analytics, and associated data governance and ethical-legal issues.
